Directing from the perspective of the image.
Since the late 1990s I have been directing for ARD, ZDF and all other broadcasters and streamers — TV films and series that have something to say. What shapes my work: 25 years behind the camera give me, as a director, an eye for the image that is inseparable from the way I think about scenes and work with actors.
From award-winning event films like Stauffenberg and Nicht alle waren Mörder, through five films of the crime series Solo für Weiss, to current series like Einfach Elli and Frühling. Plus extensive experience on international productions — from Japan to the USA, Egypt and right across Europe.
